Biggie did it…Tupac did it…Lil Wayne is doing it. But just how do you put the weight of an entire coast on your shoulders? That’s the goal for self proclaimed “North Coast President” Defoe aka Foegerzz and with a title of that stature, you can rest assure he’s got the answer…and more.
In a time where identity theft has become the norm, Defoe (or Foe for short) stands as a last of a dying breed of rappers who made a name for their self by individualizing themselves instead of following the trends. But like a president representing his people, Mr. Foegerzz is also bringing his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio along for the ride by re-inventing North coast Ohio as well and setting it apart from the rest of the Midwest.
From talent shows to mix tapes to local gigs, Foe has been literally representing “Tha Land” like he’s been running a presidential campaign for office. To date, Defoe has been fortunate to perform at various venues including Cuyahoga Community College, The Kinsman Party Center, Peabody's,The Earth Nightclub, Bentelys nite club, G Club in Hollywood, Numerous of performances with Clevelands own Nova the Rebel, The Hi-Fi, and The B-Side and has had his music spun at numerous local clubs. But with the drive to want more, Foe sets his sights on radio and album sales.
